Urban regeneration investment

This development of 14 flats and 21 townhouses, with 1,138 square metres of workspace offering a unique living and working experience, located in the heart of Brighton close to the North Laine.

With fantastic views over the cities rooftops, the residential element of this scheme offers a highly specified building fabric and solar thermal panels on the roof resulting in incredibly low running costs. Design focused on the use of materials, ongoing maintenance and the provision of natural daylight across the 3 storey properties as key deliverables.

The end result won the Sussex Heritage Award for Large Scale Residential Development with the judges describing it as ‘an inspiring scheme’.

The BREAM Excellent office building, which offers natural ventilation, rainwater harvesting for toilet flushing and solar photovoltaic panels has been fully occupied since its completion in 2008.
