Brighton shipping containers installation - week 2 & 3

Time is hard to come by at the moment. We’ve been onsite over the weekend. So this latest blog update on the containers takes a predominately picture form.

Week Two
Work starts on the roof of block 1

Work starts to the internals; changing plugs, installing heating and cleaning up after sub contractors!

Week Three
Work starts to walkways and stairs

some motivation from E.F. Schumacher

The Ghost Train is installed by Jon Mills on the old railway bridge across New England Road. The final piece of public art in the New England Quarter Regeneration. Submitting the planning application was one my first jobs at QED in 2008! Its great to finally see it up.
