The morning fog delayed tee off slightly, but it was a tightly fought competition once play was underway at the Sussex Professional Golfers Association (SPGU) Pro-Am tournament. After 18 holes the winning team captained by Ross Gilbert, QED managing director was announced.
The runners up included JCJ Construction in second and Chris Tolman’s team in third. Chris Tolman’s team were joined by Challenge Tour player Peter Tarver-Jones who shot 66 and was the runner up in the professional event. Bertie Chambers of Slinfold Park Golf Club won the professional tournament with an excellent score of 64, well done Peter and Bertie.
